I'm 44 years old an I'm married with Francesca. Our son is 6 years old. We are living close to Rome.
During all my life I always felt that my mission in life is to support and help people. That’s the reason why I worked since 1994 in a Not for Profit organization. In 1998 I started up my Organization (www.coopgea.it). There I gained all my managerial expertise managing people and challenging targets. The company actually employs 70 social workers still now and provide service to more than 900 people.
In 2003 I started to collaborate with my friend John Cowley in “Rome no Problem” (www.romenoproblem.com) a multi-service company that provides assistance and help to ex-pats in Rome area. In this particular job I experienced my other passions: love for my country and culture and love for foreigner people and cultures. Being keen of foreigner languages brought me to speak English, Spanish fluently and basic French. Here I could help and support people providing those services that they need and at same time introducing them smoothly in my culture. I'm also a senior consultant for Italy for Kamelion World a Client Specific Intercultural Company.
In 2008 I attended a Coaching School recognized but International Coach Federation in Rome. There I have been taught all the techniques to be a really skilled helper. At that point I had the business expertise, the skills and the ability to help someone else to reach his/her most important targets.
During last two years I have been travelling all the world supporting companies that operates in the Export of "Made in Italy", mainly in the Food and packaging industries.
To be an Italian Export Manager today means much more than to be a "sales representative abroad". It is a matter of business and culture together. Sales, in the global world, is more and more not simply an exchange of goods/services, but a communication across cultures and consumers habits. The Italian Export Manager is working not only in the interest of his/her own company/brand but within a broader brand that is called MADE IN ITALY.
Despit conomic/financial crisis, Italian trouble in economy and political governance there's still a huge demand for Italian product and services in the world. I shold say that although hard times world is still hungry of Italy.
Of course those Italian products that are famous for their excellence, the true "Italian style" and not a bad copy produced thousends of miles far from the peninsula.
Considering the environment of above, the modern, Italian, intercultural, Export Manager, knows how to find channels of sales and motivations in a global business world that's truly really competitive, but actually open to buy the best products that artisan, industrial, and cultural Italian industries have exported since from the 50s of last century and that are destinate to be exported in the world for a very long period of time in our future.
